Since the last IOS update we have been flooded with enquiries relating to the latest update “breaking” people’s iPhone. Most common issue’s we are hearing is blank screen, no power, apple logo / boot loop. We would advise anyone facing any of these issues to contact Apple.
Try the following
1. Try a full data restore, if you have recently updated your iPhone 5 / 6 / 6s / 7 and now face the Apple logo boot loop you could first try restoring the device from a PC using iTunes. This should install any bug fixes released by Apple.
Plug your device into your computer with a USB cable
Turn off the device
Hold the Power button to turn off the device
Then hold the Home and Power buttons till the Apple logo appears
Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button
The phone is now in DFU mode which will allow you to do the restore via iTunes
2. Wait, Apple are aware of the problem.
3. Throw it against a wall in anger. We’re joking of course. If you do find your self getting to this point then get in touch with us for an update or resolution.
Our advice as always been the same when it comes to updating mobile phone software. Wait a few week, this way it gives the software developers time to fix any issues and bugs.
